"1. I, William Abbot, wish to plead guilty to concealing £143,725 of criminal property.
2. I became indebted to a group of people who asked me to collect money for them. Although I was threatened by them, I accept that I am unable to rely on the defence of duress.
3. I made only a single trip to collect the money for them [there had of course been a previous visit, it is not suggested to be more than that, on the 7th March].
4. I did not know where the money originated from as I was merely a courier. I also did not know how much money I was to collect."
So he was admitting on that basis of plea his knowledge or suspicion that the cash represented the proceeds of criminal conduct but not more specific knowledge than that.
