BAILII is celebrating 24 years of free online access to the law! Would you consider making a contribution?
No donation is too small. If every visitor before 31 December gives just £1, it will have a significant impact on BAILII's ability to continue providing free access to the law.
Thank you very much for your support!

MRS JUSTICE HOGG :
1. They were to take the herbs as instructed;
2. They were not to seek orthodox western, modern medical treatment whilst taking the herbal treatment. They were told that if she went for a scan the power of the treatment was such the baby would not be seen on the scan;
3. The mother could not give birth in London, she had to travel to Lagos for the birth as she would be unable to deliver the child at all without the administration of the third and final herb.
