Navtej Singh v Dean Youngson (Beneficial interests, trusts and restrictions : Constructive trust - inferred common intention) [2017] EWLandRA 2016_0768 (14 December 2017)
Applicant was the Respondent's biological father. The Respondent's mother had bought a property under the Right to Buy legislation, where she lived with her son (Respondent) and daughter. Recently she transferred the property to Respondent by way of gift. Applicant claimed a beneficial interest in the property on the basis of alleged contributions to the purchase price. Held that no contribution had been made, and there was no intention that he should have any interest in the property. Applicant's RX1 application cancelled.
