The proposed acquisition by Vermilion Energy Inc., through its wholly-owned indirect subsidiary Vermilion Oil and Gas Ireland Limited, of the entire issued share capital and thus sole control of Shell E&P Ireland Limited, from CPP Investment Board Europe S.ár.l., has been cleared by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
