THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE (EVIDENCE) ORDER, 1924. | ||
WHEREAS by Section 6, sub-section (2), of the Criminal Justice (Evidence) Act, 1924 (No. 37 of 1924), it is, amongst other things, enacted that that Act shall come into force on such day as the Minister for Justice shall, by Order, appoint : | ||
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the said Act should come into force on this date: | ||
NOW, I, CAOIMHGHIN Ó H-UIGÍN, Minister for Justice, by virtue of the powers conferred upon me by Section 6, sub-section (2), of the Criminal Justice (Evidence) Act, 1924 (No. 37 of 1924), and of all other powers enabling me on that behalf, do hereby order, appoint and declare: | ||
(1) That on and from the date of this Order the Criminal Justice (Evidence) Act, 1924 (No. 37 of 1924), shall come into and be of full force and effect. | ||
(2) That this Order may be cited, as " The Criminal Justice (Evidence) Order, 1924 ". | ||
