POLICE FORCES AMALGAMATION (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1925.

POLICE FORCES AMALGAMATION (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1925.

WHEREAS by Section 1, sub-section (2) of the Police Forces Amalgamation Act, 1925 , it is enacted that the said Act shall come into operation on such day as the Minister for Justice shall by Order appoint:

NOW, I, CAOIMHGHIN Ó h-UIGÍN, Minister for Justice, by virtue of the powers conferred on me by the said Act and of all other powers enabling me on that behalf do hereby order and appoint that:

(1) The Police Forces Amalgamation Act, 1925 , shall come into operation on the 3rd day of April, 1925.

(2) This Order may be cited as the Police Forces Amalgamation (Commencement) Order, 1925.

GIVEN under my Hand and Seal, this 2nd day of

April, 1925.
