CONSTITUTION (OPERATION OF ARTICLE 2A) ORDER, 1933. | ||
WHEREAS it is provided by sub-section (2) of section 1 of Article 2A of the Constitution that whenever the Executive Council is of opinion that circumstances exist which render it expedient that Parts II, III, IV and V of the said Article should be brought into force, the Executive Council may by order declare that Parts II, III, IV and V of the said Article shall come into force : | ||
AND WHEREAS the Executive Council is of opinion that circumstances exist which render it expedient that Parts II, III, IV and V of Article 2A of the Constitution should be brought into force : | ||
NOW, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sub-section (2) of section 1 of Article 2A of the Constitution and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby declare and order as follows :— | ||
1. Parts II, III, IV and V of Article 2A of the Constitution shall come into force. | ||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. | ||
3. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Constitution (Operation of Article 2A) Order, 1933. | ||
