IRISH LAND COMMISSION (COLLECTION OF OFFICE FEES) ORDER, 1934. | ||
WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act 1879, as adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), that the fees payable in any public office shall be collected either in money or by means of stamps or partly in one way and partly in the other way according as may be from time to time directed by order of the Minister for Finance: | ||
AND WHEREAS the Office of the Irish Land Commission is a public office within the meaning of the said Act: | ||
NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling hereby orders as follows:— | ||
1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Irish Land Commission (Collection of Office Fees) Order, 1934. | ||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1889, applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas passed before the 1st day of January, 1924. | ||
3. The fees referred to in Order XV of the Rules made under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Land Act, 1933 (No. 38 of 1933) on the 22nd day of January, 1934 (being Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 18 of 1934) and payable in the office of the Irish Land Commission, shall be collected by means of stamps. | ||
