EXPORTATION OF CERTAIN GOODS (WOOL (FOR GERMANY)) ORDER, 1935 ORDER MADE BY THE REVENUE COMMISSIONERS.

EXPORTATION OF CERTAIN GOODS (WOOL (FOR GERMANY)) ORDER, 1935 ORDER MADE BY THE REVENUE COMMISSIONERS.

Dated 7th March, 1935.

The Revenue Commissioners, in pursuance of the powers conferred on them by Section 139 of the Customs Consolidation Act, 1876, hereby Order as follows:—

1. The exporter or shipper of any Wool intended for exportation shall make due entry and obtain clearance of such Wool before shipment or exportation.

2. The entry required under paragraph 1 of this Order shall be made by delivering to the Collector or other proper Officer of Customs and Excise a Specification in the approved form, duly completed, in duplicate.

3. The entry shall specify, in addition to the other particulars required to be shown thereon—

(a) the name and address of the consignor of the Wool;

(b) the name and address of the consignee of the Wool;

and

(c) the name and address of the owner of the Wool;

and shall in all cases contain a declaration on the part of the person making the entry that the particulars in the entry are true and correctly stated.

4. The clearance required under paragraph 1 of this Order shall be granted by the signature of the proper Officer of Customs and Excise on the document on which entry has been made in pursuance of this Order.

5. This Order shall come into operation on the ninth day of March, 1935.

6. The Interpretation Act, 1889, applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas passed before the 1st day of January, 1924.

7. This Order may be cited as the Wool (Regulation of Export to Germany) (Entry) Order, 1935.

In pursuance of the powers conferred on him by the Wool (Regulaton of Export to Germany) Order, 1935, the Minister for Agriculture hereby grants to.................................of.....................(hereinafter called the licensee(s) ) a licence authorised him/them to export to Germany before the .................day of.......................193.............wool of Saorstát Éireann origin of the description(s) and in the quantity/quantities specified in the Schedule herein, subject to the conditions set forth on the back hereof.

This licence does not relieve the licensee(s) from compliance with any Customs or other regulations in force for the time being relating to the exportation of wool from, or transhipment of wool in, Saorstát Éireann or relating to the importation of wool into Germany.

The forms No. 29 (Sale) for feathers to destination other than Germany are to be certified as "exported" and disposed of similarly.

6. Any attempt to export on or after the 31st August, 1935, feathers to Germany without delay to Division 3 of the Secretaries' Office, the relative consignment being detained pending instructions.

7. Copies of public Notice No. 185 are forwarded for the information of importers, agents and other persons concerned. The Notice is to be exhibited forthwith. Further copies may be obtained by requisition in the usual manner.
