I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946)), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :-- |

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Control of Export) Order, 1940, (Amendment) (No 30), Order, 1948. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1949. |
||
2. The Emergency Powers (Control of Export) Order, 1940 (S. R. & O. No. 149 of 1940), as amended by subsequent Orders, shall cease to apply to the following :-- |

Table waters. |
||
Appliances, apparatus, accessories and requisites (including gaming machines) for sports, games, gymnastics or athletics. |
||
Unground barytes. |
||
Toys, bell domes and gongs. |
||
Biscuits. |
||
Blankets. |
||
Brooms and brushes. |
||
Buttons. |
||
Carpets, carpeting, floor rugs, floor mats and matting. |
||
Catgut, including imitations and substitutes. |
||
Perfumery. |
||
Cider. |
||
Manufactures of cotton wool and wadding. |
||
Cowhair. |
||
Cushions. |
||
Manufactures (other than watches) of silver, electro plate and nickel silver. |
||
Souvenir goods and religious medals manufactured from gilding metal, copper and brass. |
||
Hotel ware manufactured from imported stampings. |
||
Medals and brooches manufactured from silver. |
||
Earthenware, chinaware and other clay products. |
||
Elastic and elastic cord. |
||
Canned fruit. |
||
Canned jam. |
||
Fountain pens and pencils, but excluding any such articles made of gold. |
||
Fur skins and manufactures thereof ; fur waste, including fur cuttings from dressed skins. |
||
Goat and kid skins and pieces thereof. |
||
Smokers' ash receptacles, cigar and cigarette cases, cigar and cigarette boxes and articles of which such cases or boxes form part, cigarette holders, cigar holders, mechanical lighters ; but excluding any of the foregoing articles made of gold. |
||
Denture bowls. |
||
Manicure sets. |
||
Nail cleaners, nail clippers, nail files and nail polishers. |
||
Jewellery boxes, powder bowls or boxes, powder puffs, lipstick containers and flapjacks, but excluding any of the foregoing articles made of gold. |
||
Dressed horsehair. |
||
Trunks and golf bags. |
||
Leather manufactures, including footwear. |
||
Spring interior mattresses. |
||
Paper, cardboard and manufactures thereof other than waste paper or printed matter. |
||
Personal clothing and wearing apparel which are not being exported by way of trade. |
||
Woven articles suitable for household use. |
||
Pighair. |
||
Pitch. |
||
Porter, beer and ale. |
||
Saccharine. |
||
Surgical dressings of all descriptions. |
||
Wine other than imported wine. |
||
