CHILDREN (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1949 (COMMENCEMENT OF PART II) ORDER, 1949.

CHILDREN (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1949 (COMMENCEMENT OF PART II) ORDER, 1949.

I, RISTEÁRD UA MAOLCHATHA, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Children (Amendment) Act, 1949 (No. 6 of 1949), and at the request of the managers of St. Anne's Reformatory School, Kilmacud, County Dublin, hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Children (Amendment) Act, 1949 (Commencement of Part II) Order, 1949.

2. Part II of the Children (Amendment) Act, 1949 (No. 6 of 1949), shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1949.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 30th day of July, 1949.
