S.I. No. 68/1955:

ROAD TRANSPORT ACT, 1932, REGULATIONS, 1955.

I, WILLIAM NORTON, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Road Transport Act, 1932 (No. 2 of 1932), hereby make the following regulations :--

1.--(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Transport Act, 1932 , Regulations, 1955.

(2) The Road Transport Regulations, 1932, the Road Transport Act, 1932 , Regulations, 1955, the Road Transport Act, 1932 , Regulations, 1952, the Road Transport Act, 1932 , Regulations, 1953, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Road Transport Act, 1932 , Regulations, 1932 to 1955.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. The Road Transport Regulations, 1932 ( S. R. & O. No. 26 of 1932 ), are hereby amended by the deletion of the Second Schedule thereto and the substitution therefor of the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

FEES

(1) Annual Passenger Licences.

On the grant of every passenger licence in respect of:--

(a) A continuous passenger road service

Six pounds.

(b) A seasonal passenger road service

Four pounds.

On the renewal or transfer of every passenger licence in respect of a continuous or a seasonal passenger road service

Two pounds.

(2) Occasional Passenger Licences.

On the grant or transfer of every passenger licence in respect of an occasional passenger road service

Ten Shillings.

On the grant of every passenger licence in respect of more than one occasional passenger road service

Four Pounds.

On the transfer of every passenger licence in respect of more than one occasional passenger road service

Two Pounds.
