HARES (REGULATION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1957.

HARES (REGULATION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1957.

I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Hares (Regulation of Export) Order, 1957.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 28th day of January, 1957.

3. The export of dead hares, save under and in accordance with a licence in that behalf issued under the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), is hereby prohibited.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 15th day of January, 1957.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to prohibit the export of dead hares save in accordance with a licence granted by the Minister for Agriculture.
