S.I. No. 154/1962:

PHARMACY ACT, 1962 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1962.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (3) of section 11 of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 (No. 14 of 1962), hereby orders as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Pharmacy Act, 1962 (Commencement) Order, 1962.

2.--(1) Section 1, sections 3 to 9 and section 11 of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 , shall come into operation on the first day of September, 1962.

(2) Subsection (1) of section 10 of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 shall come into operation on the first day of September, 1962 for the purpose of effecting the repeal of the enactments specified in the Schedule to this Order.

(3) Subsection (2) of section 10 of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 shall come into operation on the first day of September, 1962.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The Order brings certain sections of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 into operation as from 1st September, 1962.
