CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 2) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1963. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), and section 3 of the Control of Imports (Amendment) Act, 1963 (No. 13 of 1963), hereby order as follows : |

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 2) (Amendment) Order, 1963. |
||||||||||||||||||||||
|
2. This Order shall come into operation on the 5th day of July, 1963. |
||||||||||||||||||||||
|
3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. |
||||||||||||||||||||||
|
4. The prohibition on the importation of certain pneumatic tyres effected by paragraph 5 of the Control of Imports (Quota No. 2) Order, 1934 ( S. R. & O. No. 231 of 1934 ), shall not extend or apply to goods which are shown to the satisfaction of the Revenue Commissioners to have been manufactured or produced in a country mentioned in the Schedule to this Order. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |

This Instrument removes the import quota restrictions on cycle tyres manufactured or produced in the countries specified. |
