S.I. No. 265/1963:

HOLIDAYS (EMPLOYEES) ACT, 1961 (CHURCH HOLIDAY) ORDER, 1963.

HOLIDAYS (EMPLOYEES) ACT, 1961 (CHURCH HOLIDAY) ORDER, 1963.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (6) of section 8 of the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1961 (No. 33 of 1961), hereby order as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1961 (Church Holiday) Order, 1963.

2. The 6th day of January, except when it falls on a Sunday, is hereby appointed to be a Church Holiday for the purposes of the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1961 ( S.I. No. 33 of 1961 ), in substitution for the 1st day of January.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
