HARBOUR RATES (SLIGO HARBOUR) ORDER, 1965.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of the said Act, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Sligo Harbour) Order, 1965.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 5th day of July, 1965.

3. Article 9 of the Harbour Rates (Sligo Port and Harbour) Order, 1943 (S.R. & O., No. 43 of 1943), which fixed the rates chargeable by the Sligo Harbour Commissioners on certain goods remaining in transit sheds belonging to the said Commissioners, is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to revoke Article 9 of the Harbour Rates (Sligo Port and Harbour) Order, 1943, which fixed the rates chargeable by the Sligo Harbour Commissioners on goods remaining in their transit sheds.
