I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 of the Appropriation Act, 1962 (No. 19 of 1962), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 1962 (Commencement of Section 5) Order, 1966.

2. The 1st day of July, 1966, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 5 of the Appropriation Act, 1962 (No. 19 of 1962), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 17th day of June, 1966.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into force on 1st July, 1966, the provisions of Section 5 of the Appropriation Act, 1962 . The main purpose of the Section is to simplify the procedure for the making of declarations required to be made by a person in receipt of a payment out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas for non-effective services.
