MINISTERS AND SECRETARIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1966 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1966.

MINISTERS AND SECRETARIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1966 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1966.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1966 (No. 18 of 1966), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1966 (Appointed Day) Order, 1966.

2. The 13th day of July, 1966, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1966 (No. 18 of 1966).

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 12th day of July, 1966.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 13th day of July, 1966, as the day on which the Department of Labour shall stand established.
