SUPERANNUATION (DESIGNATION OF APPROVED ORGANISATIONS) REGULATIONS, 1966. |

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 (1) of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 (No. 24 of 1963), hereby make the following regulations : |
||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1966. |
||
(2) The Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 ( S.I. No. 111 of 1964 ) and these Regulations may be cited together as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 and 1966. |
||
2. The organisations set out in the Schedule to these Regulations are hereby designated as approved organisations for the purposes of section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 . |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
Section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 , provides for the transfer of pensionable service in the case of staff transfers between the Civil Service and " approved organisations " and between one " approved organisation " and another. These regulations designate the five organisations set out in the schedule as " approved organisations." |
