S.I. No. 29/1967:

CREDIT UNION ACT, 1966 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1967.

CREDIT UNION ACT, 1966 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1967.

I, SEOIRSE Ó COLLA, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 39 (2) of the Credit Union Act, 1966 (No. 19 of 1966), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Credit Union Act, 1966 (Commencement) Order, 1967.

2. The 1st day of March, 1967, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Credit Union Act, 1966 (No. 19 of 1966), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal this 8th day of February, 1967.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 1st March, 1967, as the day on which the Credit Union Act, 1966 , shall come into operation.
