HARBOUR RATES (DROGHEDA HARBOUR) ORDER, 1969.

HARBOUR RATES (DROGHEDA HARBOUR) ORDER, 1969.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of the said Act, hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Drogheda Harbour) Order, 1969.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of July, 1969.

2. In this Order " the Principal Order " means the Harbour Rates (Drogheda Harbour) Order, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 228 of 1947 ).

3. The Principal Order shall have effect as if--

(a) the following were substituted for the Third Schedule :

4. Paragraphs (c) and (d) of Article 3 of the Harbour Rates (Drogheda Harbour) Order, 1966 ( S.I. No. 78 of 1966 ), shall cease to have effect.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to authorise the Drogheda Harbour Commissioners to charge revised maximum service and other rates at Drogheda Harbour.
