S.I. No. 65/1972:

HEALTH ACT, 1970 (ADAPTATION) REGULATIONS, 1972.

HEALTH ACT, 1970 (ADAPTATION) REGULATIONS, 1972.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 85 of the Health Act, 1970 (No. 1 of 1970) hereby makes the following regulations :

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Act, 1970 (Adaptation) Regulations, 1972.

2. The Meath Hospital Act, 1951 (No. 5 of 1951) as amended by section 24 (12) of the Health Authorities Act, 1960 (No. 9 of 1960) shall be adapted by the substitution of "Eastern Health Board" for "Dublin Health Authority" in subsections (1) and (4) of section 4A.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations adapt the Meath Hospital Act, 1951 , to enable those members of the hospital board of the Meath Hospital who were formerly elected by the Dublin Health Authority to be elected henceforth by the Eastern Health Board.
