S.I. No. 301/1973:

HARBOUR RATES (GALWAY HARBOUR) ORDER, 1973.

HARBOUR RATES (GALWAY HARBOUR) ORDER, 1973.

I, PETER BARRY, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with Section 106 of the said Act, hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Galway Harbour) Order, 1973.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 23rd day of November, 1973.

2. The Harbour Rates (Galway Harbour) Order, 1947 ( S.I. No. 162 of 1947 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for the Third Schedule thereto of the following:

"THIRD SCHEDULE.

MAXIMUM SERVICE RATES.
Ref. No. Description of Charge Rate
1. For the use of weighing machines exclusive of weighmaster's time for each ton weighed £0·01

".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to revoke cranage rates fixed by the Harbour Rates (Galway Harbour) Order, 1947.
