AIR NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT ACT, 1973 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1973.

AIR NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT ACT, 1973 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1973.

I, PETER BARRY, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 19 (3) of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1973 (No. 29 of 1973), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1973 (Commencement) Order, 1973.

2. The 20th day of December, 1973, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1973 (No. 29 of 1973), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 20th day of December, 1973.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints 20th December, 1973 as the day on which the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1973 , comes into operation.
