PETROLEUM OILS (CONTROL OF SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION) ORDER, 1973 (CONTINUANCE) ORDER, 1974. |

WHEREAS there is in force an order under section 2 (1) of the Fuels (Control of Supplies) Act, 1971 (No. 3 of 1971), declaring that the Government are of opinion that the exigencies of the common good necessitate the control by the Minister for Transport and Power on behalf of the State of the supply and distribution of fuels, |

AND WHEREAS the Government are of the opinion that the exigencies of the common good still necessitate the control by that Minister on behalf of the State of the supply and distribution of the types of fuel to which that Order relates, |

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the Power conferred on them by section 2 (4) of the Fuels (Control of Supplies) Act, 1971 (No. 3 of 1971), hereby order as follows: |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Petroleum Oils (Control of Supply and Distribution) Order, 1973 (Continuance) Order, 1974. |
||
2. The Petroleum Oils (Control of Supply and Distribution) Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 286 of 1973 ), is hereby continued in force for a period of six months from the 18th day of April, 1974. |
||
