STANDARD MARK (GYPSUM PLASTERBOARD) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1975.

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 24 (4) of the Industrial Research and Standards Act, 1961 (No. 20 of 1961), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Standard Mark (Gypsum Plasterboard) (Revocation) Order, 1975.

2. The Standard Mark (Gypsum Plasterboard) Order, 1953 ( S.I. No. 136 of 1953 ), is hereby revoked.

GIVEN under my Official Seal this 11th day of December, 1975.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Irish Standard Specification No. 41: 1952 on Gypsum Plasterboard is being revoked and is being replaced by a new standard which will take account of the changeover to the metric system. The purpose of this Order is to revoke the Standard Mark (Gypsum Plasterboard) Order, 1953, which prescribed a Standard Mark for use in connection with Irish Standard 41:1952.
