The prescribed age is fifty-five for retirement pension purposes. In the case of old age (contributory) pension, the prescribed age is sixty for persons born before 1 July 1917, fifty eight for persons born in the period from 1 July 1917 to 31 March 1919 and fifty seven for persons born on or after 1 April 1919. |
