I, MICHAEL O'LEARY, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 14 of, and paragraph 1 (e) of the Schedule to, the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1973 (No. 25 of 1973), hereby make the following Regulations: |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1973 (Public Holiday) Regulations, 1977. |
||
2. The last Monday in October is hereby appointed to be a public holiday for the purposes of the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1973 (No. 25 of 1973). |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |

This Regulation appoints the last Monday in October to be a public holiday for the purposes of the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1973 . |
