SAVINGS CERTIFICATES (TENTH ISSUE) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1981. |

I, JOHN BRUTON, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 30(2) of the Finance Act, 1940 (No. 14 of 1940) , hereby make the following rules: |

1. These Rules may be cited as the Savings Certificates (Tenth Issue) (Amendment) Rules, 1981. |
||||||||
2. These Rules shall come into operation on the 4th day of August, 1981. |
||||||||
3. Rule 5 of the Savings Certificates (Tenth Issue) Rules, 1981 ( S.I. No. 52 of 1981 ), shall have effect as if “£25,000” were substituted for “£15,000”. |

The purpose of these Rules is to increase the maximum holding of the tenth issue of savings certificates from £15,000 to £25,000 from 4th August, 1981. |
