S.I. No. 288/1983:

COMPANIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1983 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1983.

COMPANIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1983 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1983.

I, FRANK CLUSKEY, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1983 (No. 13 of 1983), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1983 (Commencement) Order, 1983.

2. The 13th day of October, 1983 is hereby appointed as the day on which the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1983 (No. 13 of 1983), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal this 11th day of October, 1983.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 13th day of October, 1983 as the day on which the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1983 shall come into operation.
