The Incorporated Law Society of Ireland in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 5 and 82 of the Solicitors Act 1954 and with the concurrence of the President of the High Court hereby make the following Regulations. |

1. On and after the date on which these Regulations shall come into operation, the fees specified in the Schedule hereto shall be paid to the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland by the apprentice or applicant in respect of the courses and examinations laid down in the Solicitors Acts 1954 and 1960 (Apprenticeship and Education) Regulations 1975 ( S.I. No. 66 of 1975 ) hereinafter referred to as "the New Regulations". |

2. These Regulations may be cited as the Solicitors Acts 1954, and 1960 (Apprentices' Fees) Regulations 1984; they shall be read with the Solicitors Acts 1954 and 1960 (Apprentices' Fees) Regulations 1981 ( S.I. No. 203 of 1981 ). |

3. The Solicitors Acts 1954 and 1960 (Apprentices' Fees) Regulations 1983 ( S.I. No. 40 of 1983 ) shall be revoked as from the date of the operation of these Regulations. |

4. The Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1984. |
