S.I. No. 273/1984:

INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1969 (DESIGNATED AREAS) ORDER, 1984.

INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1969 (DESIGNATED AREAS) ORDER, 1984.

I, JOHN BRUTON, Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (No. 32 of 1969), and the Industry (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1983 ( S.I. No. 383 of 1983 ), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (Designated Areas) Order, 1984.

2. (1) The lands specified in paragraph (2) of this Article are hereby declared to be designated areas for the period of three years beginning on the commencement of this Order.

(2) The lands referred to in paragraph (1) of this Article are:

( a ) all that part of the lands known as Churchfield Industrial Estate and situate in the townland of Garranabraher in the county borough of Cork, which lands are shown on the map contained in Part I of the Schedule to this Order by being thereon coloured pink;

( b ) all that part of the lands known as Hollyhill Industrial Estate and situate in the townland of Knocknacullen West in the said county borough, which lands are shown on the map contained in Part II of the said Schedule by being thereon so coloured;

( c ) all that part of the lands known as the Cork County Council Industrial Estate and situate in the townland of Lehenaghmore, Togher in the county of Cork, which lands are shown on the map contained in Part III of the said Schedule by being thereon so coloured; and

( d ) all that part of the lands known as Ringaskiddy Port and Industrial Estate and part of which is situate in the townlands of Raffeen, Shanbally, Barnahely, Raheens, Raheens East, Loughbeg, Ballybricken and Ringaskiddy, all in the said county, and the other part of which forms portion of the reclaimed lands adjoining the said townlands of Ringaskiddy, Loughbeg, Barnahely and Ballybricken, which lands are shown on the map contained in Part IV of the said Schedule by being thereon so coloured.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to designate

( a ) Churchfield and Hollyhill Industrial Estates in Cork County Borough and

( b ) Togher and Ringaskiddy Industrial Estates and Ringaskiddy Port in County Cork

for higher industrial grants under the Industrial Development Act. 1969 for a period of 3 years commencing on 5th day of November, 1984.
