EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (RETIREMENT OF FARMERS) REGULATIONS, 1986. |

I, AUSTIN DEASY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving effect to Council Directive No. 72/160/EEC of 17 April 1972,1 hereby make the following Regulations: |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Retirement of Farmers) Regulations, 1986. |
||
|
2. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1986. |
||
|
3. The European Communities (Retirement of Farmers) Regulations, 1974 ( S.I. No. 116 of 1974 ), are hereby amended:-- |
||
|
( a ) by the substitution of "£2,784" for "£2,652" (inserted by the European Communities (Retirement of Farmers) Regulations, 1985) ( S.I. No. 180 of 1985 ) and "£1,860" for "£1,776" (inserted by the said European Communities (Retirement of Farmers) Regulations, 1985), in Article 7 of the Scheme set out in the Schedule to the said Regulations, and |

|
( b ) by the substitution of "£1,860" for "£1,776" (inserted by the said European Communities (Retirement of Farmers) Regulations 1985) in Article 8 of the said Scheme. |
||
|
