COMBAT POVERTY AGENCY (MEMBERSHIP) REGULATIONS, 1989. |

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 7 (8) of the Combat Poverty Agency Act, 1986 (No. 14 of 1986), hereby makes the following Regulations:-- |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Combat Poverty Agency (Membership) Regulations, 1989. |
||
|
2. The maximum number of members of the Combat Poverty Agency specified in section 7 (1) of the Combat Poverty Agency Act, 1986 is hereby varied by the substitution of "twelve" for "ten". |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
These Regulations provide for an increase in the membership of the Board of the Combat Poverty Agency from ten to twelve persons. |
