CIVIL BILL COURTS (IRELAND) ACT, 1851 (ADAPTATION) (No. 2) ORDER, 1992. |

I, PÁDRAIG FLYNN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22 (4) (b) of the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act, 1961 (No. 39 of 1961), hereby order as follows: |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Bill Courts (Ireland) Act, 1851 (Adaptation) (No. 2) Order, 1992. |
||
2. Section 31 of the Civil Bill Courts (Ireland) Act, 1851, shall have effect as if for the reference to the Lord Lieutenant or other Chief Governor or Governors of Ireland for the time being acting with the consent and advice of the Privy Council and the reference to the Lord Lieutenant or other Chief Governor or Governors of Ireland for the time being acting with the advice of the Privy Council there were substituted references to the Government. |

This Adaptation Order enables the Government to exercise the functions formerly exercisable by the Lord Lieutenant under section 31 of the Civil Bill Courts (Ireland) Act, 1851. |
