LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICES (CORPORATE BODIES) ACT, 1971 (DESIGNATED BODIES) ORDER, 1995.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1971 (No. 6 of 1971) hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1971 (Designated Bodies) Order, 1995.

(2) This Order shall come into effect on the 9th day of November, 1995.

2. The following shall be designated bodies for the purposes of section 3 (3) of the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1971 :

(a) the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications,

(b) Córas Iompair Éireann.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides that the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications and Córas Iompair Éireann will be designated bodies for the purposes of section 3 (3) of the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1971 .
