ORDER entitled FAMILY LAW ACT, 1995 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1996

I, Mervyn Taylor, T.D., Minister for Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2)(a) of the Family Law Act, 1995 (No. 26 of 1995), and, in so far as it relates to section 32 of that Act, with the consent of the Minister for Health, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Family Law Act, 1995 (Commencement) Order, 1996.

2. The 1st day of August, 1996 is hereby fixed as the day on which the Family Law Act, 1995 (No. 26 of 1995), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
