ALIENS (AMENDMENT) (NO. 5) ORDER 1997 |

I, John O'Donoghue, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 5 of the Aliens Act, 1935 (No. 14 of 1935), hereby order as follows: |
||
1. (1) This order may be cited as the Aliens (Amendment) (No. 5) Order, 1997. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 30th day of August, 1997. |
||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. |
||
3. The Aliens Order, 1946 (S.R. No. 395 of 1946), is hereby amended by: |
||
the insertion of "Cavan Garda Station" after "Bridewell Garda Station, Dublin"; "Drogheda Garda Station", "Dundalk Garda Station" and "Dun Laoghaire Garda Station" after "Cork Prison"; "Monaghan Garda Station" after "Limerick Prison"; "Store Street Garda Station" after "Sligo Garda Station" and Togher Garda Station" after "Swinford Garda Station". |
