URBAN RENEWAL ACT, 1998 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1998.

The Minister for the Environment and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Urban Renewal Act, 1998 (No. 27 of 1998), hereby orders as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Urban Renewal Act, 1998 (Commencement) Order, 1998.

2. In this Order, "the Act" means the Urban Renewal Act, 1998 .

3. On the 29th day of July, 1998, sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 of the Act shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes 29th July, 1998 as the day on which sections 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 , 14 , 15 , 16 and 17 of the Urban Renewal Act, 1998 shall come into operation.
