CONTROL OF DOGS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1992 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1998.

CONTROL OF DOGS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1992 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1998.

The Minister for the Environment and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (3) of section 12 of the Control of Dogs (Amendment) Act, 1992 (No. 13 of 1992), hereby orders as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Dogs (Amendment) Act, 1992 (Commencement) Order, 1998.

2. The 1st day of February, 1999, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Control of Dogs (Amendment) Act, 1992 (No. 13 of 1992), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings the provisions of the Control of Dogs (Amendment) Act, 1992 into operation on 1 February, 1999.
