FINANCIAL TRANSFERS (LIBYA) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1999.

I, CHARLIE McCREEVY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4(4) of the Financial Transfers Act, 1992 (No. 27 of 1992) , hereby order as follows:

1.   This Order may be cited as the Financial Transfers (Libya) (Revocation) Order, 1999.

2.   The Financial Transfers (Libya) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 410 of 1993 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order removes Financial Sanctions against Libya, pursuant to United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 1192 of 1998 and Council Regulation (EC) No. 836/1999 of 20 April 1999.
