REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 17 AND SECTION 18) (CLARE) ORDER, 2000.

REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 17 AND SECTION 18) (CLARE) ORDER, 2000.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 17 and Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 17 and Section 18) (Clare) Order, 2000.

2. The existing Registrars' Districts of North Clare, Miltown Malbay and Ennistymon shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of North Clare.

This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 2001.

GIVEN under my hand at Oifig an Ard-Chláraitheora, Joyce House, Lombard Street East, Dublin 2, this 15th day of December, 2000.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the functional area of the Mid-Western Health Board so as to reduce the number of such districts in that area.
