Aer Lingus Act 2004 (Section 6(4)) Order 2006

I, Martin Cullen, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 (4) of the Aer Lingus Act 2004 (No. 10 of 2004), hereby order as follows:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Aer Lingus Act 2004 (Section 6(4)) Order 2006.

2.  This Order comes into operation on the 25th day of August 2006.

3.  The number of directors of the Company which may be appointed pursuant to the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts 1977 to 2001 shall stand reduced from 4 to 1.

This Order under Section 6 (4) of the Aer Lingus Act 2004 provides for the reduction in the number of worker directors on the Board of Aer Lingus from four to one.
