I, MARY HARNEY, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal (Amendment) Act 2006 , (No. 22 of 2006) hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal (Amendment) Act 2006 (Section 1(a), 3, 4 and 5) (Commencement) Order, 2007 |
||
|
2. The 12th day of September, 2007, is appointed as the day on which sections 1(a), 3, 4 and 5 of the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal (Amendment) Act 2006 , (No. 22 of 2006) come into operation. |

This Order provides for the commencement of sections 1 (a), 3, 4 and 5 of the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal (Amendment) Act 2006 on the 12th of September, 2007. This provides for the commencement of an insurance scheme for persons diagnosed positive for Hepatitis C or HIV through the administration within the State of infected blood or blood products. |
