EDUCATION AND SCIENCE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (No. 2) ORDER 2007 |

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Education and Science and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Education and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2007. |
||
|
2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Education and Science conferred on her by or under- |
||
|
(a) the Youth Work Act 2001 (No. 42 of 2001), |
||
|
(b) section 7(1)(c)(i) of the Education Act 1998 (No. 51 of 1998) in so far as it relates to adult education, including educational disadvantage, within the meaning of section 32(9) of that Act, among adults, and |
||
|
(c) section 7(1)(c)(ii) of the Education Act 1998 in so far as it relates to transport services, |
||
|
are delegated to S�an Haughey T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science. |
||
|
