I, BRIAN COWEN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 14(1) of the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act 1993 (No. 8 of 1993), hereby order as follows: |
||

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act 1993 (Section 14) Order 2007. |
||
|
(2) This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 14 September 2007. |
||
|
2. On and from 14 September 2007 the annual rate of remuneration of the Comptroller and Auditor General is �241,414. |
||
|
3. The Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act l993 (Section 14) Order 2006 ( S.I. No. 14 of 2006 ) is revoked. |
||

This Order applies an increase with effect from 14 September 2007 to the salary of the Comptroller and Auditor General, arising from the recommendations in Report No. 42 of the Review Body on Higher Remuneration in the Public Sector. |
