OCCUPATIONAL PENSION SCHEMES (FEES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2009 |

The Minister for Social and Family Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by sections 5 and 25 of the Pensions Act 1990 (No. 25 of 1990), hereby makes the following Regulations:- |
||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Occupational Pension Schemes (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2009. |
||
(2) These Regulations shall come into effect on 1 January 2010. |
||
2. The Occupational Pension Schemes (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 ( S.I. No. 610 of 2002 ) are amended- |
||
(a) in article 4(2)(a) by substituting -�€8.80-� for -�€9.50-�, |
||
(b) in article 4(2)(b) by substituting -�€4,395-� for -�€4,750-�, and |
||
(c) in article 4(2)(c) by substituting -�€4.40-� for -�€4.75-�. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE |

Section 25 of the Pensions Act 1990 provides for the payment of annual fees by occupational pension schemes to the Pensions Board. These Regulations provide for reductions in the level of fees by 7.5% with effect from 1 January 2010. |
