The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 8 and 27 of the section 7 of the Wildlife (Amendment) Act, 2000 (No. 38 of 2000) (as adapted by the Environment and Local Government (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister Order 2003 ( S.I. No. 233 of 2003 )), hereby orders as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Wildlife Act 1976 (Temporary Suspension of Open Season) (Amendment) Order 2010. |
||
|
2. Article 3 of the Wildlife Act 1976 (Temporary Suspension of Open Season) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 2 of 2010 ) is amended by the substitution of -�20th day of January, 2010-� for -�15th day of January 2010-�. |

The effect of this Order is to suspend temporarily the hunting of wild birds as listed in the Schedule of the Wildlife Act 1976 (Temporary Suspension of Open Season) Order 2010 for an additional 5 days, due to the severity of weather conditions. |
