I, ÉAMON Ó CUÍV, Minister for Social Protection, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (4) of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010 (No. 28 of 2010), hereby order as follows: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010 (Section 25) (Commencement) Order 2011. |
||
|
2. The 27th day of April 2011 is appointed as the day on which section 25 of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010 (No. 28 of 2010) comes into operation. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE |
||
|
(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) |
||
|
This Order provides for the commencement of Section 25 of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010 , with effect from the 27th of April 2011. |
||
|
Section 25 provides for changes in the conditions for entitlement to the One Parent Family Payment which restrict this payment to lone parents who have children aged under 14 years. |
